Mark Schultz's fourth and latest project, Mark Schultz Live - A Night of Stories and Songs, encompasses some of his best-loved songs with two new ones, all performed in a live concert setting before a sold-out crowd at the Marion Civic Center in Marion, Illinois.
Audiences can expect to hear "You Are a Child of Mine," "Back in His Arms Again," "I Have Been There," "I Am the Way" and "He's My Son," among other Schultz favorites.
The two new songs on the project are "I Am," which is in the vein and has the same feel as the some of his other songs, those that help the listener connect and be drawn closer to our Creator. The other new song, "He's Walking Her Home," which he sings and plays a portion of, more as a preview, is the story and ballad of a couple who mentored Mark when he first moved to Nashville. Schultz's humor and characteristic storytelling approach show up and make you feel like you've heard these songs before. With catchy melodies and memorable story lines, listeners will continue to be touched by these songs' messages.
Another bonus of Shultz's live project is the DVD making this effort a CD and DVD set. Together, the songs and experiences reflect on his firsthand life experiences as a songwriter and as a youth pastor.
